Procedures are as follows:

The Fiance and Fiancee are to decide the date,
     time and place of marriage solemnization/
     registration.

They should provide the following information to
     civil celebrant to prepare the Notice of Intended
     marriage.

a.   The Fiance and Fiancee’s names in English and Chinese and Hong Kong Identity Cards
       numbers(with copies of identity cards).
b .   Their parents’ names in English and Chinese (with copies of identity cards)
c.   Their addresses, telephone numbers, occupations
d.   Their marital status
e.   The proposed marriage dates, time and place of registration
f.   If any of the parties under the age of 21 years old, the consent from guardian;

They should sign the Notice of Intended Marriage within 3 months but not less than 1 month before
     the intended marriage.

The civil celebrant of Marriages sends the Notice of
     Intended Marriage to the Marriage Registry for
     posting up.

When the civil celebrant of Marriages receives the
     Certificate of Registrar of Marriages, he may arrange
     to celebrate a marriage.

Before the start of the ceremony, the fiance and
     fiancee must check the correctness of the marriage
     certificate and sign to confirm as such and make a
     declaration in accordance with Marriage Ordinance
     and sign.

Marriage solemnization then begins.
